Our mission is to make digital currency investments simple, safe and secure for everyone. We are building the next generation of cryptocurrency services for the fast-growing community of digital currency investors - many of whom are new to crypto.

By combining insurance with the latest security features, Coincover is the first and only service to guarantee digital funds will not be lost or stolen. Coincover significantly reduces risk and makes digital currency investments simple, safe and secure for retail and business customers.

Founded in 2018 in with the aim of making owning cryptocurrency safer and more accessible, we are a Cardiff-based fintech / insurtech start up operating in a global market– and you will be in at the beginning, working with us to change the way people accumulate, hold and manage their cryptocurrency.

About the role

As Events Marketing Manager, your mission is to use Global events as a catalyst to elevate Coincover as the safety standard within the Crypto industry. To do this, you’ll want to unleash the full extent of your creativity which serves to amplify our brand and generate meaningful demand for our solutions.

To be successful, you’ll need to be a meticulous planner, able to oversee multiple events simultaneously and flawless at executing on plan across all stages of the event lifecycle. You’re proud of your work and the value it delivers for the business. As such you’re a stickler for the numbers with a desire to tie the results back to both the budget and performance/ROI.

The role requires someone who is impeccable at stakeholder management with a natural flair in forging strong relationships internally and externally.

This is a highly visible role with a sizeable responsibility. We’re a growing team with huge aspirations, and we’re looking for a team player who can hit the ground running and make a meaningful contribution from day one.

What you’ll be doing

As Events Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for amplifying the Coincover brand and accelerating customer growth by ensuring we are well represented at targeted high-impact industry events.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and project manage all events from plan and execution to reporting and evaluation.
• Amplify our brand at events by taking a strategic approach to positioning, attendance, stand location, sponsorship and speaker engagements
• Work with marketing counterparts to manifest the events as part of an integrated marketing plan
• Research and target our intended audiences with the aim of inflating the funnel with MQLs
• Manage the events budget, oversee suppliers and coordinate event delivery
• Strategise and execute “owned” brand events (online and offline) which cements Coincover as a trusted thought-leader on safety within the Crypto industry
• Build sound relationships with internal teams and external partners, including, venues, event organisers and advocates
• Collaborate with finance and the head of marketing to roll out and monitor event ROI guidelines across the various teams/business units
• Track, measure and report on event performance and ROI, using a data-led approach to turning insights into action

What sort of person we need:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
• 5+ years’ experience in high-volume events-based role
• Demonstrated success in events project management
• Tech fluency, including slack, Google suit, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pople
• Experience and knowledge of Crypto-specific events is a strong advantage
• Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
• Well organised, structured meticulous planner who can execute at speed
• Proactive, resourceful self-starter able to work autonomously
• Functions effectively in highly dynamic and unstructured environment
• A keen interest in fintech and insurtech
• Experience in or passion for Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in start-up environments post series A
