JOB SUMMARY

The Giving Block Project Manager will be responsible to partner with key stakeholders to plan and execute the implementation of strategic business initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand strategic initiatives and hold teams accountable to reach goals by partnering with senior leaders.
  • Work across product and business stakeholders to successfully plan and execute business go-to-market activities for new product features, marketing campaigns, and day to day deliverables.
  • Manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously with limited time and/or resources.
  • Lead project management from initiation through closure by defining project scope, documenting project briefs, developing detailed project plans, hosting kickoff calls, facilitating team stand-ups, and mitigating scope creep.
  • Proactively address and manage team challenges, or executive needs, using project timelines, and compiling data-driven project status reports to provide transparency of project progress towards goals.
  • Escalate risks to leadership and across teams in a timely manner along with mitigation plan options to reduce project impact and support informed decision-making.
  • Manage relationships and facilitate conflict resolution within project teams.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to recommend and inject continuous improvement into the project management framework.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to train project team members on project management tools and practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of project-based experience in project manager or project coordinator role
  • Experience using project management software such as monday.com

Preferred Experience

  • Relationship-oriented with event management experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working with product managers is preferred
